SHOUTcast V2.6 is now available on select Centova servers (New York, Atlanta, Tokyo and Salt Lake City) The upgrade to v2.6 does bring some changes. If you remember back several years ago, SHOUTcast by AOL was sold to Radionomy and is no longer open source software. They do offer a free version which is what all servers run by default. The included free version supports mp3 formats only and can only stream at a maximum bitrate of 128Kbs. SHOUTcast Premium is an optional upgrade and offers both mp3 and aac+ streaming and up to 320Kbs bitrate. We are not in any way affiliated with SHOUTcast, the software is bundled into Centova Cast, the upgrade fee would go directly to them, you'll find a new option in Centova settings to enter your license id if you choose to upgrade. Target Spot + SHOUTcast v2.6 = $$ If your running the new SHOUTcast v2.6 which is available in the select Centova panels above, in addition to Everest cast and Sonic Panel, you can take advantage of this new program which automatically plays audio ads on your stream whenever you choose. Payments are sent to your Paypal account when you reach $100 in ad revenue.
Centova Player can be enabled under Settings, click on the Widgets tab, then the Player tab. You'll find the copy paste code by clicking on Widgets in the left menu of Centova.
